Important Update Regarding Spring Term Classes at Swallow Art Cambridge

To my wonderful students, their parents, and potential clients:

Thank you so much for the tremendous support you've shown by signing up for and attending classes at Swallow Art Cambridge! Without your trust and help, we wouldn't have been able to build this creative community in Cherry Hinton, Cambridge. I feel truly grateful for having had the opportunity to found and tutor Swallow Art Cambridge, and for sharing my expertise with so many artistic minds.

In 2025, Swallow Art Cambridge was proud to host two successful terms of weekly classes for students aged 4-6, 6-9, 9-12, and adults. Many new students joined through word-of-mouth recommendations. I am delighted to hear how much students have enjoyed the classes and to witness their progress in developing their interests and artistic skills.

Upcoming Changes to Our Schedule

As Swallow Art Cambridge grows, I have been evaluating the operational demands of managing multiple age groups alongside my other professional work as an illustrator. To ensure the long-term quality and sustainability of the studio, we will be implementing a change of plan for the coming Spring term.

Studio Break and Renovation:

We plan to undertake a studio renovation and operational review, which will require a break in our regular schedule. Therefore, there will be no weekly classes running before the start of the Summer Term on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2026.

New Focus Areas:

Due to the demands of the expanded workload, we will be temporarily simplifying our offering:

• Classes Temporarily Closing: The weekly classes for the 4-6 and 6-9 age groups will be temporarily closed for the Summer Term. No decision has yet been made for when these would be restarting.
• New Workshop Opportunities: Instead of weekly classes, we plan to announce specialized workshops for all ages towards the end of March 2026.
• Continuing Weekly Classes: The weekly class schedule for the 9-12 age group and Adults for the Summer Term (April 22nd – July 19th) will be announced towards the end of March 2026.
